What would you attempt to do if you knew you could never fail?

I would start my own store, selling alcohol, books and music.
I have a Wii and this Wii has always worked perfectly. However, since the update to firmware version 3.0 I can't connect to my WiFi USB connector. There is no way to downgrade, this pretty much means I won't be able to go on-line for a while. My DS still works fine though, so I'm pretty sure that a new firmware version will fix the problem and that it's not a problem with my drivers.
If you haven't updated your firmware yet and use the WiFi USB connector, you might want to keep it that way.
I've contacted the Dutch customer service and I will let you know ( not
that you care ) about their response and if they know of a solution.
My father found this site where you can upload and view documents. It's called Scribd and apart from not being something I would use, it's pretty nice. You can bulk upload your documents ( which you keep the rights to ) in most formats and download them in another, even MP3, but I wouldn't recommend using those as a replacement for audio books for obvious robotic voice reasons.
It should be possible to embed documents you uploaded, which I'm going to try with a piece of Harry Potter fanfiction I have not read.
So yeah, new 'web 2.0' goodies!
I read the last 250 pages of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in one go. I'm afraid of spoilering something so I'll keep it short. I really enjoyed reading it! But I may just be proud of myself for actually reading a book.
End.
In less than an hour I'll be leaving for work and I haven't slept all night. I'm not in the best of moods right now.
I could have just posted a picture of my new kickers, but I just could not not give you the manufacturers homepage. I have the ROBO High Control Kickers.
Work was quite fun, apart from the really boring parts. Seeing the amount of work I had done in four days made me kind of proud, which doesn't happen very often when I am not preventing little plastic balls from passing me. I can't wait to not buy stuff with the money I have earned. Actually having money for more than a few days seems like a good idea, so I will try to spend as little as possible.
About that whole preventing white balls from passing me, I am a field hockey goalie ( or goalkeeper ). Stopping little white balls is probably the most fun I can imagine having, when moving about in the name of sports. It's all about reflexes, concentration and not being afraid of breaking something. In the first video you can see how little time a goalie has to respond. The second one I believe, shows one of the best goalies in the world stopping a ball with a dive, which I hardly ever do ( not being quite that good and all ).
Anyway, I got some new stuff of which I will not post any pictures, unless someone really wants me to. I will say one thing, black and PINK!
I also bought the new Harry Potter book. I have no problem reading forty ( the only number in the English language whose letters are in alphabetical order, apparently ) pages in one go, which means most other people will probably be able to finish it in a day. And please, don't post any spoilers in the comments.
Finding work didn't take very long. I went to the employment agency on friday and today I got a call about a job. I can start tomorrow! Unfortunately it's only for four days, but it's something I haven't done before and the pay is good.
I don't like not being able to compose messages in Opera, starting Internet Explorer just to 'vox' just isn't convenient. I'm not one of those people that doesn't use Internet Explorer because it's popular, I just want certain functions it doesn't have while still being lightweight ( which rules out Firefox ). I don't know who to blame, Vox or Opera? I think it's a bug in Opera, but it shouldn't cost too much time to implement some kind of plain text mode, or am I mistaken?
Dude, if it's black and pink, you KNOW you have to post it! Tsss. read more
on Harry Potter! ... and some stuff about work and goalkeeping
